  • Omg...4:00...wow. VERY nice.

  • Anyone know where to find Gene? Had him for marching band. What happened after PCJB 1981? Though there were many greats, the bands of @ 79-81 were the best I've ever heard. And his two sons, amazing trumpets. I say this with all humility of being in the band in 82 and 83.

  • Gooseskin!Superb arrangement of that rodgers song. The conductor is great.Dick Shearer would be proud of that wonderful Trombones.

  • Just a little historical lore...the cymbal that you hear in the big build up is said to be the same one used on the Kenton recording of My Funny Valentine. He gave it to the band as a gift (or some say, left it behind due to a small crack) but either way "Big Bertha" comes out to play with the band from time to time.

  • the cymbal you speak of is in gene polaski's hands it was a gift to him from a great friend of his
