  • Hi

Very much cheaper is the Retroadapter .You can make Makros up to 5:1 .Very nice!

  • Thanks for this video. I was thinking I needed to buy a macro lens, but thank goodness, all I need are the filters. Looks like they would be great for stop motion lego photography.

  • You just saved me from buying them :) Subed.

  • heheheh you really need to clean that comb! Nice vid by the way...

  • thanks alot

    good job

  • good job! u give me some ideas of macro photography(macro lens is very expensive!)

by the way, does the filter will decreasing the picture's sharpness? and does +10 filter suitable for insects shooting? thank you!

  • @shafiqaroy yes it decreases the sharpness but not alot. yes i took a picture of a fly with them all on. except its kind of difficult because you have to be close to the insect which will scare it away

  • Newbie...do extension tubes do the same thing?

    The Meltdownman

  • @meltdownman1 yeah basically

  • nice video bro..u just gained another subscriber :)

  • @adoboniga thank you so much, its very appreciated :)

  • @ithree6mafia which lens did you use to shoot this?

  • @stavyros nikon 18-55mm vr

  • ok..thank you very much for the info... nice video by the way..

  • @DAVAIO no problem:) thanks for watching

  • i mean, does it work for the magnification on 18-55mm? and how far the distance between your camera with the subject?

  • @DAVAIO yes the magnification works, at 55mm with all the filters on probably about one ceimeter. you wont be able to take insects with these filters really but more stationary objects

  • I ordered canon 250d close up lens. Do you think it will work too on nikon 18-55mm?

  • @DAVAIO as long as the lens has a 52mm filter or whatever size you ordered then yes it will work

  • what lens did you use for that close up lens?

  • @DAVAIO nikon 18-55

  • Good review. I have the exact same close-up filter as you and you explained perfectly how to use it.

  • would u say that its better to buy a lens or these filters for macro shots?

  • @erickav808 its better to buy a lens , but if you want something cheap with alright quality to get some macro. i recommend these

  • @ithree6mafia cool! thanks. :)

  • I bought them and couldnt get the good shot.

  • @CELTICMED you have to be pretty steady with it, ive gotten some decent images out of them

  • @ithree6mafia would u show me your pictures please ?

    Have E600 Olympus.

  • Can you get this for the cannon Hv30? Thanks

  • @iNC0GNiToSHiN0BiiBY it depends if theres a thread on the camera to put it on, if so you might be able to :)

  • the video is blur :P

  • @saifi176 mhmm

  • I can't afford a lens so I'm looking to get these filters. Thanks for giving me a better idea of what they are like.

  • @iwanttowatchitburn yourwelcome :)!

  • will these work on prime lens.

  • @tausare yes just get the right thread size

  • Should be set up so that the "plus 10" is the closest to the camera body and the "plus 1" being the furthest out from the camera body when doing the stacking set up. At least that is what I have seen suggested by others who use these filters.

  • Haha. I love the disclaimer: "The NASTY comb - WHICH IS NOT MINE BTW!"

  • @elektriksheep hah yeah thanks for watching!please subscribe:)

  • Great video mate :) I've purchased mine from eBay yesterday... Were you in macro mode at the time you were making to video or taking the pictures? If not what mode were you in thanks!

  • @ThomasJamesShortley thanks :)! no i was not in macro mode, i believe just manual. please subscribe :)!
