I love David Bowie AND Beck. Although he bit off "win", he definitely owned it. I wouldn't want either song removed from existence. Besides, Bowie did his share of theft as well. I don't frown on sampling at all as long as you can make it your own. Sampling, Borrowing & stealing just reminds us that the great artists are genuine fans of music & are always digging for those golden nuggets.
