These are the general plots of each of the movies:
Days Later: Very suspenseful, amazing story, scary, and plot driven. The movie was all about survival, and was an amazing movie. I freakin love this movie.
Weeks Later: Not suspenseful at all, the story is crap, and it wasn't scary. I liked the beginning, but after that it sucked. The plot was about how two greedy, dumbass children fuck up the European population.
I wouldn't call these "things" zombies, for the simple fact. The "infected" are still alive. Zombies are classified as the living dead (or voodoo mind slaves). that and since zombies are supposed to be dead they don't require nurishment, the infected in here starved to death.
k, i jsut watched 28 days l8r, and since it was on mega video i only had 72 minutes, so i skipped some boring parts like when they were being chased in the car, when they were shopping ect, but the end just kinda confused me, like why jim let out jones and why jones infect bla bla, ect...can some1 explain for me?
Jim let out the infected member in order to stop the soldiers who were in the wrong mindset thinking that they were the last people on earth. He used the infected member to kill off the others so he and the girls could escape. The reason he decided to let the infected out was becuase he saw a plane signalizing that there was life outside of the uk and that they soldiers were doing very bad things and refused to listen to other theories.
The trailer wakes Resident Evil Feelings inside me. 28 Days later was full of secrets. After seeing the trailer I badly wanted to know what this movie is about. Was that Bagby in 28 Weeks later?
I love 'em both. And the kids aren't the reason behind the infection, it's the father. The father kissed the mother, and that's why the infection restarted. The military would've found the mother anyway, they weren't gonna limit the Brits to District 1 forever.
28 days later is a great movie. Just to critique you one something you said though. I don't know if you were joking or what, but nobody would just leave someone in a coma in a hospital. Human instinct is to do what they can to survive, nobody would ever say "Well shit, there are zombies coming, we should save this guy who can't walk or anything, that way he can slow us down and let zombies get us!" So nice attempt at a joke if that's what you were trying to do, but that was just bad.
It was just a joke, but i was mainly stating the faact that he is naked. I have seen people in comas and never were they naked, so i thought they could have had him clothed at least in a hospital outfit, but im open to critique.
Well you gotta remember that is wasn't intended 2 B a "zombie" film. the "infected" were technically still alive, and it even showed them dying of starvation towards the end. Plus, if u shot one of these bastards in the chest, they'd be DONE, because the virus only turned them into manic killers, NOT zombies. With Romero zombies, you shoot em in the head, u shoot em any place else, and ur basically screwed. lol
I mean, yeah, the kids got on my nerves and the father made a stupid choice (kissing the infected woman). But hey, he had the right idea to run. Oh, and there's a 28 Months Later in the works, Danny Boyle has a story idea for it.
I like both films, too. But u gotta remember, man...the father didn't even KNOW his wife was infected. And of course we all get scared and do stupid things when in life/death situations. But it was STILL very messed up on how he just left his wife behind like that. He even looked her straight in the eye and shut the door, leaving her AND the kid trapped. And i can't WAIT 2 c the third one!
Just some extra info.. Danny Boyle directed half of the first scene.

the reason the kids didn't get their asses pwn3d by fast zombies is because, they won't let kids die in a major hollywood film. simple as that.

Most overrated film of all time, A disgrace to horror films, and most of all, a disgrace to George Romero.
