@TheMadeleine789 I'm not sure why you think anybody is interested in what you like or don't like. How do you know whether somebody is feeling a song or not? This song was performed in a single take, unlike the studio version by Nina Simone. A question, if I may; How can you, as an individual, detect with any authority what a person is feeling by the sound of their voice?

The other way round I query whether that u would have asked the same (lately aggressive) questions if I said I liked it. So, you have to define for yourself what u want here on youtube with a video that allows comments.

It's my personal opinion and i got all authority for that. I can tell for myself and maybe a bit in general because of musical experience and being a sentient being.

@TheMadeleine789 I don't consider my questions to be 'lately aggressive', although I'm not entirely sure what 'lately aggressive' means. I allow comments on here, as people have the right to comment. I never suggested that you were not allowed to comment. I merely responded to your comment, particularly as to how you can detect with authority the level of feeling in somebody's voice. You have answered this by stating that it is your personal opinion and therfore you have no authority. Thanks.

@victoriautube I think we have established that, if you had taken time to read the comments and not be an ignoramus. I would direct you to my own previous comments, but I'm not sure if you are capable of scrolling down, so I will be explicit, once more.

I accept that I was sent a file which erroneously stated that the singer here was Mica Paris. I'm a guitar player, and my knowledge of female singers is a little rusty. If you could advise me who the actual singer is, I would be most grateful.

@CornCob6000 Your unnecessary rant aside - I did see your comments. I just find it somewhat ridiculous that you won't remove the wrong lavel simply because you don't know who the right singer is if you have acknowedged that it's not Mica. And no, sorry, I don't know who is singing - but it's nice.

@victoriautube I wouldn't consider my previous post to be any more of a rant than your own childish 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT MICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'. I'm sorry that you find me ridiculous, but it's up to me whether or not I change the label. And, on a lighter note, think of how many people have happened upon this lovely singer because they were seeking Mica. In fact, I think I'll leave the label as it is. Maybe more people will chance upon it, and somebody may even put a name to the voice one day.

I have loved Mica from the first album with "My One Temptation". Her problem is the US doesn't know good quality sometimes. Example, Will Downing. For Mica, her career could have been great except that everybody (Al Jarreau [Feels So Good], Tamia [You Put a Move on My Heart]) covered what should have been her signature songs simultaneously while she was in the studio recording them. And because of their "pull," released before her original. This was like a shot in the gut and the career.

I've been a fan of Mica Paris for YEARS and I can positively say 100% that this definitely is NOT Mica Paris singing

I received it as an mp3 and it was labelled as Paris and Gilmour, but it could be a mistake. I've listened to a lot of other singers and can't decide who it is! Thanks.

It must be Gilmour and someone else, mikey. I received it as an mp3 labelled as Mica. I'll rename it if I find who it was. Cheers for the comment!
