Alright, someone help me out on this. About a year ago, downloading anything you want via torrent was no prob - highly available, very simple, no probs - Lately, you can't download 1/4th of the media that was once available, and I would say at LEAST 50% of what's available has spyware, malware, etc...what the fuck happened? Was there a crackdown that shut down hosts or what? Or have most hackers just realized it's profitable to use torrents?

what do you mean, "safely and efficiently"? Your just showing the most common way of downloading torrents. The torrents downloaded from the sites u recommended on this video could easily have viruses. i watched this video cuz i thought it would show me how to hide your ip and stuff but i was tricked by the video title. And btw, u spelled efficiently wrong.

hey.. im openin torrents with bit-torrent.. and tried several other torrent download programs... its all the same.. nothing ins happening.. time is eclapsing.. but notg is downloading.. down speed is 0... never changin.. n progress 0% not progressin.. pleaase heelp

Thank you for watching my video. If you have downloaded something with 0 seeds and 0 Leechers. That would be the case. Make sure you have at least a 30 point difference. Hope this helps

i go to gadiss.net and watch the movies free. i download them too with firefox's application download helper.... its way easier and safer than downloading all this crap that can slow down my computer.. try it

Was that Universal at the door!!!!! Ha Ha I tried this and music was no problem. But as soon as I downloaded a couple movies ,Kick Ass, Transformers, and a few more my Internet service was shut off!! I had to call and explain. They said Universal contacted Cox Cable Co. My cable provider and told them I was uploading transformers to everyone!! That Sucked Pretty Scary Stuff!!

Think I'm done for a while unless someone tells me how to do it without uploading!!

Well, comments do not grant safety for your downloads, downloads with good comments can contain viruses as well. Also when there are no comments at all, you can't be sure either.

But thanks though, I now know that I should use Pirate Bay, instead of the search engine from utorrent, so that I get more download options.

Tip, if you right click on a torrent file, you will be able to see a option that is called bandwith, if you set this to high it will go faster if you have the seeds and internet bandwith. BUT it will make it almost impossible to surf or something in the mean time because it then uses a larger number of the line..

you have missunderstood badly my good sir.

torrents thath have good coments are not neceserly safe.. there have been countless files that are corrupted/malware, where the maker or some "partners" comment the files sky high. Second is you are not hiding from the real threat for us right minded people, thats right, the fbi and so on. Check out VPN. VPN wont hide you totaly from the feds but will make it harder for them to find you.

you must use a VPN in order to actually be hidden. an IP table like peer guardian only hides YOUR computer within a network, not the entire network. for example, if sony tracks you downloading a CD, they won't know which computer in your house downloaded it, but they know it was from your house. all they have to do is call your ISP and ask for a lookup.

Hey look, I couldn't give a hoot about a file that isn't clean or has a virus, I have 100% confidence in my firewall/anti-virus to handle anything. It has so far. What I need to know is how to stop your downloads being tracked, ie: torrent, Limewire., etc... not this shit where they say its hiding your downloads but actually an "FBI" sting, but really hides your stuff. don't use limewire full stop. I know you may have confidence in your Firewall but No anti-virus can stop the shit upon shit that limewire spits out. I got fucked over twice by limewire (And also by ill-judgment) a couple of years back, i vowed never to use it again and of course my comp has been free of viruses since. use the pirate bay for torrent as you can read comments to see what you d/l and helpful advice on what to do, trust me your firewall may be good but trust me it WILL get infected!

If you are downloading, you are uploading. Leachers are still contributing. The difference between a seeder and a leecher is that a seeder continues uploading after the download is fully finished. Everyone is a leecher until their download is finished.

Some people have their program set to share while they are downloading.

Some people already have things downloaded to share.

And some people share what they have already downloaded so far. This is how torrrents work, sharing a part of the file.

I have had the case that someone has only 96% of a file, yet it gets shared, & never finishes till a new user with the rest of the file gets on.

I understand that. Uploading does not equal seeding. Seeder is a title reserved for those who are finished downloading, but continue to upload. Basicall, a leecher is someone downloading the file, whether or not they are uploading at the same time. I have read several wikis and faqs that confirm what i am saying, but perhaps we are researching conflicting sources. oh well...
