type in: ipconfig /release

then: ipconfig /renew

Then you should have a new ip address.

Ok, I was looking at tech postings,supposed experts,and network admins and tried all these complicated fixes, all I had to show for it was 2 hours of frustration and misery.Ii got up the next day and the first link I tried was this one and within 3 mins it was fixed. TOTES WORKED. On the UPDATED tutorial at the bottom of your video, the guy just says to INSTALL internet protocol 4. He makes NO mention of clicking on them, and making sure that they immediately accept an IP address.

If this don't work for any1 then i suggest u guys look for the latest driver for your wireless driver. I tried this and it didn't work but I find out my HP laptop have a 2007 version of Artheros AR5007 driver and got the latest driver and updated and its working fine now.

not helpful. by the way kid you don't need to choose ipv6 before clicking install, the install button is not dependent on the list, it allows you to add something new to the list. you will get the same options when you click install no matter what you have chosen on the list. this doesn't answer the question of what to do you are already set to use dhcp and have ipv4 and ipv6 already installed.
