im not saying there isnt such a thing but the most common chip that is used in animals is, in fact, NOT a gps chip. its just got a code on it and when someone finds the animal and takes it to a shelter it is standard procedure to scan the animal for a micro-ship. the scanner reads the number which is matched up with a database. there is no way for this chip to send and recieve signal which is required for gps.
