He could have triggered that disfunction in her - and her family members. Why didn't her Mom call 911 when her daughter was missing? Why the hell didn't she or Tony just put gas in her car if it was only out of gas? She was found with $200.00 on her. Even if she didn't have that money then, why didn't he get her/give her some of his gas, enough to get the car outta there? She had to have known it was going to eventually get towed and her parents would be notified. I know it was abandoned, but their reason doesn't add up.

Even w/that, is it possible that Cindy threatened to claim her unfit, take Caylee away + cut off Casey forever financially if she tried to leave? Who knows all that was said in that fight Cindy now denies? One reason for denial, other than how bad it looks, is that the nugget of the motive may be in the words exchanged during that encounter.

And it appears Casey was jealous of Caylee not only w/her mom but w/others too, like Jesse. So if there's sick dysfunction going on, Casey might have thought that even if she married a man & was able to take Caylee with her, that he might eventually abandon her in favor of Caylee, like her mom did. Caylee could have been perceived by Casey as an obstacle to all kinds of things, like the absolute freedom AND attention she craved & so Caylee became the focal point for all her pent up frustration.
