  • I know "Chinatown" is considered the greatest film noir ever made, and I do like it, but "L.A. Confidential" just takes the cake for me.

    When you compare this to "Titanic" (not too bad a film) I have to ask what the academy was thinking not giving this film the best picture oscar.

  • It's pretty damn phenomenal.

    I love films that take standard genre pictures (like cop films) and flip them on their ear. soooo good.
