  • cool thanks

What kind of guitar is that?

  • I have spent more time finger picking since I began playing a few month ago. Double neck fusion surgery in 2006 made the digits kind of numb. I bought a guitar on my B/day on 9-11 to celebrate 50 hard rocking & rolling years. The strumming is easy with the fingertips, I can can nail what you showed without much effort with fingertips.. The use of plectrum isn't very good. Any videos on that would be great. Thanks

  • Plectrum is really easy, i tend to find it better to just let the very tip stick out from my fingers so I can sorta get a feel of what strings Im plucking or strumming or watever lol.

    Hope that made sence :P

  • Thank you...good lesson

  • thankyou :)

  • keep it up :))

  • These are the strums i learnt when first learning so i know this video will help a lot of beginners 5 stars :D

  • I learned something!

  • Thanks Dave, this was another really helpful lesson. Something I need to work on more. Listened to your A minor blues video where your playing the electric...WOW! I am still working on that great little lick. Thanks for all your help

  • Good lesson - thanks!

  • can you show the strum patterns in a song like fishin in the dark by the nitty gritty dirt band? seems to be a lot of the muting technique you show in this video... i think... anyway, i'd love to learn that!

  • That is great! I have learned something today and I'd like more strumming patterns. thanks!!

  • Thanks for the help Sawlon. I'm following many guitar lessons on the Tube, but there is something about you're lessons that are really helpful. By the way, I practice everything you teach.

  • Yet one more well explained easy to follow lesson. Thanks. I am still basically a beginner and find this style of instruction real easy to pick up. The one challenge I find is in trying to hear how someone is playing without needing tabs or someone to break it down..I know... practice practice practice.. Thanks again
