The biggest challenge I am facing in reasoning with Fundamentalists is that whenever I bring up the issue of love and forgiveness, they're like "You're not a Christian. I am a Christian. I am more zealous than you, so that means that I am more holy." However, Jesus said that people should be caregivers and pray for those who are in charge. It is easy to love your friends. But Jesus said for people to also love their enemies.

But it's not a tax, I pay way less than 1,000 a year for healhcare, and I intend to pay for my own. I imagine it will be like education. Private schools and insurance for the win. I thought Fox News was bad but MSNBC is no different. The elitist, liberal neo-marxists under Obama are not much better than the NeoCons under Bush. Rachel Maddow is a pandering demogogue. You have to realize that MSNBC is owned by General Electric, whose CEO Jeff Immelt is a left-winger who has a lot riding on Obama's "green" energy projects - reminds me of Halliburton. If you want real change, vote for third parties and returning war veterans.

They are the two most biased networks on the air. The difference? MSNBC admits it, they know they are not "fair and balanced." They have a view, and they spin things that way. Bush was a neo-con fraud. But Obama, the liberal hypocrites in Congress and the media lie just as much. I remember Democrats starting an unconstitutional war in Kosovo. I remember Democrats making a case against Sadaam's WMDs in the late 90's. I recall Democrats voting alongside Republicans for the Iraq War Resolution in 2002 as well as for the Bailout. The party of JFK sold its soul to the abortion lobby and the labor unions. The party of Lincoln was hijacked by NeoCons under Team Bush.

In order to justify his conversion, Schaefer needs to demonize his father and background. No true Christian prays for somebody's death. If deemed necessary, he prays for that person to see the truth and change his/her way, becoming thus an instrument for good in the world. People pray for Mr. Obama to stay alive and well, so that people like F. Schaefer wouldn't point the finger at those "evil fundamentalists". Ps 109 used for commercial purposes created agitation instead of peace.

He isn't even a preacher, he is the son of Francis Schaefer, the man who orchestrated the religious right along with Jerry Falwell.
A number of scholars credit Schaeffer's ideas with helping spark the rise of the Christian Right in the United States.
To say he or his father are irrelevent is quite baffling.
