Also, everyone was laughing... I just realized that they were laughing at the idea of Biden knowing Obama's std checks (as if they are a couple)... Obama clarified he was with Michelle not Biden :)
I agree that Biden made a great point and Obama didn't need to add anything, but Obama HAS been the recipient of a lot of racism and rumors, and I imagine he was joking about that.
WOW! A presidential candidate discussing the use of condoms! AND he is Catholic! Good for you, Joe Biden! The prevention of AIDS is directly attributed to the consistent use of condoms, something the Bush administration has avoided insisting on, as a means of placating the rulers of the Catholic church. I'm glad Biden said what he had to say about blood transfusion and AIDS. OBAMA/BIDEN '08
I think he's amazing. He is passionate and accomplished and honest. He doesn't always think everything out just so, because he is the real deal- not manipulative and guarded. Look at his record. He's the right choice.
terrorism is never gonna end. girthe, you can't fight terrorism, it's an idea...a tactic...in fact politicians use it too. It's called "fear-mongering" when they do it, but it's the same thing. By definition, "terrorism" is the use of fear to get what you want. Terrorism is not an issue. All we can do and SHOULD do is fight ONLY those who ACTUALLY ATTACK the US.
Let's not leave out the reality of our government sponsoring terrorism in the form of economic exploitation across the globe. Pharmaceutical companies turned billions of dollars in profits through mandated tetanus and Hep B vaccines laced with the newly synthesized HIV virus in the late 1970's under the auspices of the World Health Organization. Terrorism is simply a term used by political powers to draw attention away from the oppression governments impart on a day to day basis.
i agree that terrorism issues should remain at the forefront, provided how dismal the current administration has dealt with this ordeal. however, girthe's aids comment is rather indifferent to the severity of the issue as a whole. personal behavior as a solution to an epidemic is band-aid to a gushing wound. how does that count to the poor children who are born with the disease? it's a big problem that needs to be addressed and tackled here and elsewhere.
wow. arent u the oblivious one? how many people die every year from "terrorist attacks" in the United States? now compare that to the number of people that die from AIDS.
unfortunately some people are stupid enough to fall for the sleight of hand and run around with their hair on fire screaming that terrorism is the ONLY issue, while the REAL issues like AIDS, which kills thousands of people EVERY YEAR, are ignored.
National ID card, Suspension of Habeas Corpus, Walls and fences, 2 million in jail (highest on planet) 40+ million on probation, "Preemptive war", military bases in 135 different country's, And here's the big one, 1/2 your working life..you work for your government (soon to be 70%). Now I ask you...Do you really believe our people want freedom?
Like the lady below me said (I'm assuming she was referring to you), understand that the issues you listed have largely been covered in the first two debates, and this was a debate dedicated more towards understanding how each candidate feels about issues most sensitive to the African American community.

He should've let it ride, seriously. Biden made a good point, and used Obama and *himself* to point it out.

This guy seems like a parody of a politician - kind of a windbag.
Wasn't he also the guy that called Barrack "clean & articulate"?
I dunno - weird choice.

How long will it take for Biden's foot to be extricated from his mouth?

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when Biden was trying to convince African-Americans from his area to wear condoms.
