Would u guys stfu about the foot fault. That has nothing to do with the vid...
I love it when these morons try to correct a teacher on something so insignificant as a foot fault. This guy is demonstrating a top spin serve with excellent form.
Jumping on your serve should really come naturally and it will if your work on it enough, but before that you should really just work on technique and it will come.
Yes, i totally agree the jumping motion is not really jumping BUT is part of your momentum from hitting the ball. So naturally you don't jump if you have a really weak serve, but if your serve has some pretty good power behind it then your body will naturally jump/pull forward when you hit the ball all because of momentum. So it doesn't help to force your body to stay still if you're trying to pack some heat on it.
lioneldude, there are many people keep saying footfault and tried to correct it, but in fact they make more footfaults than the person that they'r trying to correct.
Nice serve...During ball toss I'd recommend pivoting on the left heel and pointing this foot to the side. This will increase torso rotation...a key power generator along with the legs.
Really nice. Love your style of teach by showing. You easily saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars on tennis lessons!

pokerdekisist 1 year ago
@pokerdekisist The point isn't about the good serve but as it says, how to add power.

You use knee and 'jump' on topspin and slice serves. You do not need as much on flat servers.

its not a foot fault. once you make contact with the ball, you can land from your jump off in front of the baseline. in fact, you should.

On which leg should your weight be on while loading?
10isplayer18 2 years ago

The first 2 serves are undeniably a foot fault....you might want to make sure you know the rules of tennis before posting an instructional video.

ShawEagle2012 3 years ago
jumping is an involuntary reaction of having a lot of leg force.
