Thank you so very much for taking the time to make this incredibly inspiring video. I am a Mum in Australia to a 2.5 year old severely apraxic boy called Dexy. You have reminded me to keep expectations and support high for him throughout his life. I am actually going to save this until he is old enough to listen and understand so that you can be a role model for him. Again, thank you so very much. The world needs more people like you and maybe that is just what my beautiful son will be.
What an inspiration this video is to us parents who worry constantly about our child's future with verbal apraxia. My 4 year old son has had a "non typical mouth" since the day he was born; and has struggled ever since. I pray that he will have the same self esteem and determination as you have had. Thank you and God bless.
@katemhobbs It takes a community to support children with communications distorters, all we can hope for the best life possible for them. You will be in my prayers.
Thank you for posting this. I often wonder what will my daughter (who is 2 with CAS) will accomplish and I see in you that she can accomplish anything she puts her mind too. I am here to push and encourage her to be the best she can and she will! Thank you so much!
@althemighty08 Thank you so much for your comment. It is parents like you which cause children with communication disorders to believe in a day where they are not known as the kid with a speech problem, but as the smart person they are!!!!
You are absolutely one of the smartest, most amazing and inspirational people I know. I have always been proud to call you my friend and I love you to death buddy. miss you lots, keep being amazing!!!
