Yo WarnLasers, i want to buy the Waterman 120mw, the lens on it looks HUGE, why is that? I wonder if it will affect its burning capability, please answer ASAP.
because waterman series ist designed for working under the water, it need quite good airtightness and thermal radiation. The internal core of the 120mW laser is made by 130-140mW chip.
I'm actually pretty interested in buying this exact laser.
Also, i you were interested in the magnifying glass, people have also been using a xbox,ps3,dvd, etc lens. The small circle that is used to read discs and attaching them to laser pointers
Hey, friend, you're just extending WWLLMAN666's whimsical idea to a new degree! Great!!!!!!! So it seems there are manythings we can try. It's really gay! Come on!
Hi warnlaser, i have a question. i have a 5mw green tiger laser, and i was wondering if this can work: getting a magnifying glass, and lighting leafs with the laser under the magnifying glass. will that work?
Wow! Magnifying glass! That's a great idea! You can try, it's up to you tally. Cute! Warnlaser are very interested in making such a test. We would love to share with you the report of a magnifying glass test with a 5mW. Very much thank you for that cool idea!
Tks for your comment. it lighted the matche under a very cold condition & the matche iself has a low capability of burning. That's it. it's a testing video

No way thats a 120 mW. It takes entirely too long to light those matches at that distance. Warnlaser must have a lot of underspec lasers.

Maybe it took that long because he couldn't hold still or he wasn't holding it in the sweet spot, which is where the beam is the most concetrated.
greenacidfusion 2 years ago
That is always a possibility.

lol with 5mw and a focusing lens, NOTHING will happen. I know from experience but 5mw is a good pointer.

why did it take so long to light the matches? I have a 75mw and it can light them faster than that.
