Bullet for the General is actually not an exploitation movie at all, it's a very sophisticated film with a lot of politics in it. It's a very brutal film though, a lot of people get shot.

Excellent pick-ups with the Westerns, all must-haves. Hope you like em.

I have that Pam Grier set too, nice buy. The 4th disc is pretty useless though. It's got like 20 minutes of interviews with modern day Hip-Hop artists, and that's it.

Awesome cover/book on 300! Really a nice thingh to have.

Do The Right Thing is my fav. Spike Lee too. He never managed to reach this quality again. Seems like they produced some good new special features.

My Private Idaho is totally overrated imho. Not my movie at all.

Pink Flamingos rules!!! I love that man! "There's part where you wanna not look" - I guess I know which scene you're talking about. I bought all the John Waters flick separately, wish I had this cool set you got.

Private Idaho is def. not for everyone. It took me 2 viewings to appreciate it , honestly.

"Horror Free" made me more curious.. Thanks for the warning for ghostbusters.. 300 is a great release.. I have it on hd-dvd also so i will compare.. great film for blu as you say.. Daniel day Lewis - Quality not Quantity.... Rcop Steelbook looks just cool... 5* as always..

Thanks, man! Don't get me wrong Ghostbusters looks pretty good, but should have been waaay better looking. AS far as the Daniel Day Lewis thing, yeah he seems to pick his roles carefully and doesn't put himself in the public eye too much. Other great actors have done the opposite (see Robert Deniro) and it has hurt their careers, imo. You see way too much of him and on top of that he has been picking sub par movie roles as of late.

Private Idaho is great! but gets weird with the shakespeare stuff. lol. I saw a clip of Keanu barely being able to speak about River after his death. Really heartbreaking.

I liked Private Idaho alot, but as you said the Shakespeare stuff gets irritating. Especially when Keanu's doing it, LMFAO!!

And yeah I can see why Keanu would be choked up while talking about River Phoenix. I'd be interested to hear what he said about him.

Yeah I read about the Fight Club menu gag. I would have been really confused if I did not know before hand, lol.

Do The Right Thing...The best movie ever in my opinion...Never get tired of watching that one.

I think they will eventually put the second on Blu Ray...It'll probably be like the DVD..No features at all.
