Nice drumming. How long have you been at it? What sort of pedal do you use? I've got a Speed King (had it before I knew that's what Bonham used) and am just starting to get a feel for it after about 15 months of playing. Thanks for posting this.

People don't realise that you can only hit a drum so hard...meaning,volume will only increase to a point.If you just pound harder and harder you will not keep getting MORE volume..it will only increase to a point. Petecatz is correct in noting that many think Bonham just pounded his drums.He did in fact hit super hard on certain fills and when soloing in parts>really HARD...but even then he had control and was not just flailing away. Mostly however,he played with control and nice wrist action.
