  • Hey sarah! im a 17 year old guy and usually go to the gym 5 times a week. every time i go to the gym, i go home and have a protein shake with strawberries, blueberries, blackberrys, bananas, yogurt and orange juice, and of course, 2 scoops of whey protein. I was just wondering if this is a good post workout meal? thanks so much!

  • Hmm, not great. She needs to tackle the butt from more angles. Try doing leg lifts diagonally, you´ll be surprised! (go on all fours, stretch the leg back slightly away from your other leg and lift).

    A couple of weeks ago I started to monitor my heart rate during jogging. I jogg/walk for aprox. 45 min. And my average heart bpm is 170. As soon as I start to run or jogg a bit faster my heart beat goes upwards of 180. Is this just because I don't have condition? I really wanna burn calories/fat during my cardio exercise & I know my heart beat should be around 140bpm. Should I just stick to walking fast so that I don't exceed this limit?

  • @wick3tgirl How much weight do you want to lose? That heart rate zone is myth! You will burn more calories with it up high than low. If you don't have that much weight to lose then walking may be a good idea but if you have more than 10 lbs, I would suggest keeping your rate up, or better yet, try intervals. Try to get your heart rate down and then bring it right back up, with 1 minute intervals!

I have to lose about 6 kg (google says, that's 13,2 pounds). so, yaaaay I can jogg normally with out worrying too much about the "target zone" :) I love to jogg normally at quite a fast pace but it still isn't running if you know what I mean? :)

    maybe I'm gonna try intervals some day :) I have to find a company in europe that sells that "beeper" thingy for interval training that you mentioned in one of your previous vids :)

  • I have found with 90% of my clients they dont have glute activation and therefore really do not work their butt but more thighs and other synergistic muscles. I would start this routine with some briges on the floor, ball, or even a couch or coffee table. If you do not feel your glutes working hard during bridges then they are not activated-keep doing them daily til you do!

    Also, it's true that exercising reduses the cravings, but still it's hard but my fiancee is strict and she boosts my morale, so did your comment. Thank you :)

  • @abster120 Breath out on the way up, or the "hard part." Breath in through your nose, out through your mouth. For example, breath in when you squat down, breath out when you stand up. Put your hand on your stomach to make sure you are engaging your core muscles and really push out the breath.

  • @juujuuandtangguo If you want to be toned then you need to have muscle - thats what gives you the 'toned' affect.. you dont want to be a skinny fat.
