I've been in the music biz for too long and it never was any better than these dudes, Original, pure shit. The best. Wish my kids would have the privilege.
Not to throw genre labels around, but the Replacements pioneered everything even the best "alt country" bands have been doing for years. So much music since and now would be different if not for them. Influential stuff.
David Minehan is the rock God. You don't know shit from shit. I grew up watching him @ Harpo's , Blue Pelican, Harraken's, 1 Pelham East, the Rat, the Oasis. He made Westerberg. Great band, wish I could hear "Pure and easy" 1 more time
God I hope you're kidding. I'm sure he's cool a cool guy, but "made"? Unless this is mislabeled and is from about '78, I think Paul was already "made"
Wow, I'm surprised Paul made it through a whole show with that dude spazzin' out next to him. The sight of that dude probably pushed Bob Stinson over the edge.
That killer lead guitarist is David Minehan of The Neighborhoods, one of Boston's best kept secrets.
The 'Hoods were huge in Boston punk scene in the early 80s, and frequently shared the stage with Mission Of Burma. They still play an occassional gig in Boston or Providence.
I saw this tour on the east coast in VA. BEST SHOW EVER... School of Fish was the opening band... and they were pretty badass, too!

what are the names of the guys on guitar, bass, drums?

This whole gig just looks sick. Its my fault for being British, and 3 years old at the time.

I wish Paul would have gotten Tommy Stinson on bass.
This would have been the best replacements line up since '86 with Minehan and Freese.

That would be Dave Minehan, and that is what makes him awesome live. Tommy and Paul need to pull Dave and Josh and go on tour. Let Chris paint.

He's a clown. He looks gay trying to upstage Paul...and nobody really cares who Dave what's his name is anyway. He's a tool.
