The apples still confuse me even though I already read the books. I mean, apples aren't even in the book...just on the cover as a symbol. But Edward and Bella's relationship doesn't even count as "forbidden" love. D:

i guess its because apples are symbolized as the "Forbidden fruit" in the old tale of Adam and eve. Pale skin= vampire which is Edward

Apple= forbidden fruit is Bella or the temptation of Bella's blood
