Callahan's music is more intimate, as it regards specific feelings towards specific situations. If you find yourself in his music, it's a snug fit; like an emotional glove. Obviously, though, one size will not fit all.
Makes me wonder why an average singer like Bon Iver is raved about when real gems like Smog/Callahan get ignored..
