I have no idea why this song came into my head. But it did. And I remember the one person that would make me think of it and I wish I could make him smile right now. Crappy cat he got stuck with but I warned him.
Hey Guys out there :-) just got off work watching this video again lol god I love this video this song this band. This is my favorite genre music and favorite time. I really deeply miss this music. Todays music I get tired of it real quick I can't stand it LOL.
Dang, I recently discovered a cassette tape with a bunch of my favorite songs that I had recorded from the radio when I was like 6. Of course this was on there.
I worked in retail and they would play this song almost everyday. I hated it @ first, but grew to absolutely <3 it. I had a huge *secret* crush on my coworker & every time I heard this song, I immediately thought of him & would smile. 1 year later, he was my bf...and this song became his ringtone every time he called. When we broke up, I would hear this song so loudly - as if the phone was ringing, but it never was. Ah, memories. Heartbreak & happiness - that's what this song is to me! ^__^
I just started posting comments on this my first time. I just really wanted to chat with u guys looking for the same thing like this band, song and music video. Damn yo I re-discovered this song early november 2011. I peeped it on music choice between 6am -7am. I said woooowwww! I haven't heard this song in years. I remember hearing this song back in the 90s. I'm a 25 yr old black dude living in the suburbs in NY. Rock definitely has my heart before rap. Don't get me wrong now, I love rap/hiphop. But rock n roll is just first!

The real music by real musicians with real soul and spirit like this is still out there its just harder to find because the heartless ,soulless machine that is the music business has got more control than ever and dumbed things down even further.
But we the people who feel who hurt who love who struggle will not be beaten we will always succeed in the end the universal spirit can never be beaten.

Toad the Wet Sprocket performed a concert for us this year. Thank you Glen. I am in full agreement. This song is definitely one of the best songs of the 90s and this video should have many more views. Hopefully it will attract more views next year as Glen and the guys promote their upcoming album.

I was born in 1997, and I didn't know about Toad the Wet Sprocket until a few years ago, when I realized that my mother had this CD, called "1990s rock" and the song "Walk on the Ocean" was on there, and I used to listen to this CD many times. Then, I heard Toad's other songs, and I recognize the chorus in this one. I definitely did not grow up in the 1990s, but I do appreciate what it has to offer in the form of entertainment. I don't like the newer Top 40 radio, at all, because of lyrics.
You think this song sounds good now? In 1992 it brought tears to my eyes. 1989-91, my high school years, had some of the worst music ever. Grunge and boy bands had replaced everything that was good about the 80's, which for me are 1979-88. At the time, this felt like the first song that was actually worth listening to in 3 years. I so hoped that they would grow in popularity, but sadly, after the awesome When Will We Fall down, they faded until they broke up at the end of my college 1998.
@fossilbox1991 I could not agree more and it's not like this hard rock that is un radio friendly. It is good guitar music which has all but dissapeared from top 40 radio
miss my teenage days! i'm 31 now. Here in the Philippines, i think this was there only hit song. Fall down and Something's gone wrong i think only had very minor airplays.
Saw the band in concert on Friday (July 15, 2011) at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint, Idaho. Incredible show and performance. If they are coming to your neighborhood check 'em out. Can't wait for their new CD due out next year!
heard this song when i was probably 4. im 20 now and ive been waiting forever to see them in concert. just saw them july 4th 2011 at red rocks in colorado. Amazing. i was born in the wrong time era.................
used to listen to this tune to sleep back in mid 90's (I'm only 21).. can you guys recommend tunes like this? I'd love to listen to them again.. 80's and 90's are definitely the best decades for music..
Someone below mentioned Gin Blossoms "Follow You Down", I can tell you this song and that one bring back so many good memories of being in my late teens back in the mid 1990's its just a pleasure listening to tunes like these
Saw these guys recently at Orlando House of Blues. They were GREAT and sounds just as good, if not better than in the 90s. They were all approachable after the show...great guys...great band. Thanks Toad

Toad the Wet Sprocket performed a concert for us this year. Thank you Glen. I am in full agreement. This song is definitely one of the best songs of the 90s and this video should have many more views. Hopefully it will attract more views next year as Glen and the guys promote their upcoming album.

A song with an actual melody and no autotuning. No screaming, and lyrics you can understand and relate to. Yup, must be the 90's.

I so hoped that they would grow in popularity, but sadly, after the awesome When Will We Fall down, they faded until they broke up at the end of my college 1998.

its hard to believe rock music used to get played on top 40 radio. it just doesnt even seem realistic now
fossilbox1991 6 months ago 2
@fossilbox1991 I could not agree more and it's not like this hard rock that is un radio friendly. It is good guitar music which has all but dissapeared from top 40 radio
