I'm too lazy to really go through all the comments, but I've see on other reviews that the chat port on the Air Flo is often faulty...I want one of these, but I don't want that problem because I'm always talking to friends when I'm playing. Is there much truth in that? (anyone who uses this controller, feel free to answer)

I just got this controller today. I was skeptical, but it far exceeded my expectations.

Even if you don't want/need the lights and fans, I'd buy this controller over the standard. The sticks are more loose than the standard (though they don't feel greasy or out of control), the triggers are tighter (but they're not a chore to use), the D-pad is objectively better.

The only conceivable complaint I have is that the start button is very close to the right stick. But that's barely a problem.

I have this, I love it, altough some dont like wired, I do. Because they don't run out of battery or randomly disconect. I play with turtle beaches, so i dont hear the fans. And it dosent feel cheap, unlike other unofficial controllers.

looks good(unlike the rest of third parties controllers)but there is one problem:the d-pad looks like it only has 4 sides instead of 8 sides like the original xbox 360 controller(& that will be a problem in games were you map certain actions on the d-pad,since its giving you less options)the cooling fan idea is awesome,but they need to fix that issue with the d-pad if they make another one or for the next xbox.

Sure the d-pad on all the Playstation controllers only have 4 sides (well buttons),

and it doesn't limit anything, because if you hold down two at a time, you will move diagonally.

I hate the d-pad on the original 360 controller as its feels too loose and flimsy.

I had an Air Flo PC controller and it worked great. That is until I dropped it and one of the fan blades chipped off making it vibrate like crazy. Even without the fan it was still a good controller though.
