I've got the Vaio Z12 and it comes with win7 preinstalled. I'm very interested in getting MacOSX running in order to fiddle a bit with xcode. Is there any way to install snow leopard like you have and still keep my win7 which was preinstalled?

Anyhow after I installed the macbook pro update (forced) on reboot system hangs before GUI comes up. Not a kernel panic but I think a conflict with the display driver.
Did you ever get it to work with QE/CI? What did you do about DSDT? I assume you used the mega or multi package on TonyMac's site. Which options did you choose in that installer after the 10.6.3 upgrade?
Care to share what you've done so far to get it working native? I've reflashed bios, enabled static vid switching...gotten installed....but can't for the life of me get QE/CI...even after downloading the new graphics drivers (IntelHD). Point me in the right direction?
intel wifi is no way to work on osx. You must use usb solution instead but ethernet lan connection is fine.For boot os, now i still use iBoot cd to boot first but it is very possible to boot from hdd it self. For sleep it can go to sleep state with red led but when i push power button again it shut down i think this can be fix.For camera i don't test it yet.For touchpad, it work perfectly include 2 finger scrolling no need to do anything
Now i can install snow leopard as boot OS. It works with internal lcd native resolution 1920x1080 QE/CI works, audio works but installation process is very difficult. I will post vdo and instruction soon.

Wow. So glad I didn't buy a Sony Vaio. OS X is crippled after install on it and Windows is just naturally crippled.
