WOW, this is probably as simple as it's going to get.... If you don't even know whats up with the math, i'd suggest you giving up on scripting.... @DracoBlack179 True, but there is still a call that calls all of the ancestors of the item, which makes it possible that the script is getting a parent of a parent, or so on and so forth. Nobody really uses this call anymore, but I'm sure you'll find good use of it.

Let me remind you that this is the most basic of instructions, and if you do not understand this, you NEED to get some help with this before watching it again.

@danilosrbin You just have to put your mind to it. If you don't like scripting then obviousley it's going to be hard for you to learn it. This is just an overhead on the subject; therefore you should start practicing.

First to make a simple script, like say you want your speed to be 100.

since your playing a game, say game. after that you place it into workspace in the studio by saying Workspace. Heres what it should look like now. game.Workspace.  (capitals are very important) and now you say your players name, like mine is nutritiousjustin I would say game.Workspace.nutritiousjusti­n.

State what you do. game.Workspace.YOURPLAYER.Walk­Speed=1

@chickenpoper Lua is a "Language". In order to imply your math skills into it, you have to first understand where to put the mathematical equations.
