  • This fat ass host needs to shut his obnoxious pie hole

  • i get so embarrassed watching these.. how come every host they have doesnt seem to know much about chess.. just some decent looking chick askin for pple to call.. i might enjoy it more if it were more chess educational

  • Lol phill is black richard is white

  • stick the knight in ur ass that was funny sean.

  • 16:20 stick it up....

  • Poor Richard, he wasn't even expecting to be on the show. And Phil was pretty funny.

The show badly needs Jeffrey back though, Greg and Vinh too. They knew what they were talking about and made the show interesting to watch, instead of jokes and prank calls...

I like that finally there is a camera over the board, though it doesn't seem to work very well right now. You should probably test that out before you are supposed to be broadcasting~

  • I think the show is charming. For me, as a chess player, the amateurish/incompetent level of the production is the shows real strength. Please keep the host Agathe because she has got a good TV personality and dont make the show too scripted.

  • The show actually isn't scripted. I think, outside of the intro, they don't use any script.

  • I'm sure Bobby Fischer would not have been pleased at the tone of this particular episode, but I was highly amused!

  • when is this show on and at what time? is there a link to where i can see the show live?

  • It is on every Thursday night, NYC. I believe airtime is 7:30 pm EST. If you go down, you WILL end up on the show. I believe the studio is around 59th street.

  • Every other Thursday at 7:00pm. You can watch it at Manhatten Neighborhood Network's (MNN) web site. Channel 57.

  • Was it Jamaican night at Chess Now! (host) LOL

  • That kid didn't know his ass from his elbow.

I miss the Reservoir Dogs chess professionalism of Greg and Jeffrey.

  • That Richard guy dident seem too thrilled.

  • That's what happens to you after playing Chess for more than 2 years non-stop LOL

  • Would be interesting if I had, but it has been awhile since I played actually.

  • I went down to the studio to watch, and then I was dragged onto the program unexpectedly. That was me there. I was trying to be reserved because I didn't know what to expect.

  • Hey, I went down to the studio to actually watch it from there, and check it out. I didn't expect to end up ON the show at all. So, I was very reserved. And with the meatball prank caller, I needed to keep composure.

  • That was me with the prank calls.

  • theres only one there and it was weak. the best prank calls were from the guy that kept calling and saying he had his own public access show, the guy that made up a tournament and kept calling as different GM's, the howard stern ones and the guy that gets reunited with his brother or something like that

  • that was funny stick a knife i n yur ass

  • Please, next time you call in, don't use a kid's voice, and don't suggest a King's rook pawn be advanced early like that. Dude, why not going down to the studio and actually APPEAR on the show? Maybe you could mmon the camera.

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • Nice to see you are easily amused.

  • It's impossible to follow the live game as usual. Phil is quite entertaining. The prank calls return. There are some good camera shots of Phil's arm and back. Therefore... another winner!
