  • I do not understand a word you are handing....I am not a deaf person, but I read lips very well. I prefer cue speach, much faster and allows the speaker to actually lip the words properly (which I can read perfectly fine). It's like 6-8 hand signs along with the lip positions to complete the sounds....which means the interpreter doesn't need to learn thousands of hand-signs.

  • I use "robot", well both exactly though. My interpreters uses both and they make it fun and interesting for me. As long you ask ur interpreters to use both, they can follow along but make it fun :) its not that bad to me.....

  • deafpcatoby, stop discriminating to the deaf people who uses ROBOT LANGUAGE or NORMAL LANGUAGE. deaf people might be interest in their own life but you don't have to know about deaf people. it's up to the deaf people if they feel good or not. just leave them alone. maybe they will learn as far as they can. how about me? i feel like normal culture but i don't like to see if they feel unfair. anyway, i'm from other country. your information seems complaint but it's okay with me.. ^_^

  • hey goood point!!! i do notice i follow hearing world. that means i am "robot" to hearing world! wow.... sad....
