Wat geweldig is Youtube.Ik was bij dit concert van Pavarotti in Boedapest met mijn moeder en mijn zus.Het was een geweldige reis,maar het hoogtepunt was Pavarotti voor het eerst zien en horen zingen.! Zeker toen hij Nessum dorma zong!!! Mijn moeder is in 2007 overleden maar op haar begrafenis werd Nessum Dorma gespeeld van Pavarotti.Ik ben bij het graf geweest en he 3 rozen op het graf gelegd als dank voor die mooie avond in Boedapest

The orchestra is playing way too fast. He had to rush through the aria. Especially the finale was very pressed on. Miserable performance by the orchestra. Maestro Pavarotti pulled it off with great mastery...as always.

I guess Pav had asked for it. There is always a rehearsal before hand, so everything should've been planned in advance.

I have found a 1972 rendition of Nessun Dorma by Pavarotti. It's his best rendition--no doubt. The early 1970s were the pinnacle of his career.
