Skimpreston: Full of the Cape "Smoke" A.T.T. Did do the "Flamin' Arse"(rolled up newspaper ablaze whilst wedged between the buttocks) on top of a VW Kombie for want of boredom relief. The swell shown would have been a "Swansong" the next day as this poor basteurd couldn't swing a dick let alone manoeuvre 7' 6'' of pintail into this line up ! The grog huh? No offense intended moyyte !

Good maloombies! Holds well looks friggin' tops! Never got to this place when around in the mid 80's - if I had- would have probably been shark tucker! Met heaps of S.A. blokes in Newquay & had wicked boozin' wave & "footie frisbie sessions along with Aussies & locals. Did the "Dance of the Flaming Arse" on the roof of our Kombie & won the "Colonial Corner" talent quest. Should of seen the shielas run! Good times, good friends, good waves ! ! !

This is the uk however waves of this magnitude only occur about 3 times a year in one spot. Most of uk surf is below 8ft.

Thats is a south african called Richie Dod who lives in Newquay, and this was a winter evening he surfed it with Ducan Scott the swell was real big north fizzy and little were going off! so anyone claiming this to be them can well, do one i guess haha
