Caught this band about 10 times over the years...they ruled the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach in the early 90's...well, co-ruled with Albert Collins...Sammy was my first interview for a blue publication and when I went into his room in the hotel it was just loaded with old blues cassettes, harps and all kinds of mojo...never really hear him tear it up on stage like this...wonder what happened to Shure Green Bullet he had all taped up with duct tape? Everyone loved this band...
Yeah man. Him on the Strat...a thing of beauty! Awesome band all around. Sam on harp, the man's tone would bring tears to your eyes...especially after a bunch of drinks!! LOL. RIP Sam Myers. One of the best harp players around...
and danny cochran on drums homes. check out how strong sam's voice was kicking !!! the whole band. the best times. need some freddie pharoah days videos !! c/s

Anson is the most under-rated of all US blues Guitarists.... and guess what? He is the best.
No one, except BB, has that fine sense of phrasing like him.
