i hate people who abuse animals cause it hurts them the animal who is being abused and me it hurts me too and besides i recused a one eyed kitty for a bad very bad fire :(!

I work with an animal rescue group , and i se the abuse . it needs to stop . we need to go and fight to make it mandietary jail time . adopt from a shelter dont buy from puppy mills .

I see where you are coming from. I too am completely opposed to all animal cruelty, not just that done to dogs and cats.
That doesn't change the simple fact that the worst and the majority of animal cruelty is LEGAL and that your neighbour (most likely) and most of the people you will ever meet or see pay for it to happen. Animal cruelty is not illegal, but it is wrong.
You have probably seen Earthlings already, but if you haven't type in Earthlings trailer, and watch the second one.

This makes me cry...especially since recently here in Denver where I live there was one of the most horrific abuse I've ever heard of. Bobo..who was set on fire on the stove..hog-tied. He was burned 50%...he died a few days later, dispite the wonderful efforts of the wonderful vets.
