of course it doesn't sound good, it's a machine trying to play a violin! the beauty of this video, in my opinion, is not how good the sound is, but the intricacy of the machine and the fact it works. from an engineering point of view it's a huge success- it freakin' runs! all it needs is for someone to fine tune it.
