He was the man who had always new ideas (harmonic intros for example fight fire, battery and to live is to die, he actually wrote it before he die,) and the most important if cliff wasn't at the band, metallica would make covers of other bands and they wouldn't produce their own music. thanks for reading

Wow I remember seeing Metallica back in 85. Before they went mainstream. They were the greatest thing that ever happened to heavy metal back then. A relief from all the pussy spandex wearing hair bands. I still got a garage tape of them from 82ish right when they first cut their first demo for the midnight metal shop show on BAB. Think they were living in an appartment in queens at the time.
