@wulfyworld Damn right it is. They really went downhill after Stevo left. Now they play shitty Blink 182-esqe mallcore with little to no political edge/insight to their music or lyrics. Pandering to the latest trend.
@vylkyl I look at things this way, you've got your kirk hammits and weak hawains. we've got weak people too but we are stronger than you bozos. i mean I don't see any hawains or tongans winning worlds strongest man comps, do you? not many in the larger weight classes of mma either.
I like to visit hawaii but I like california more and I like our people in the areas I named, more. i don't see any of you fags running rough shot over them.
you've got a few bigs, we've got our thick redheads.
@vylkyl that asiatic/jap genetics makes you little fags a bunch of pussies.
yeah you might be tough against some weak libtard clueless 50 something baby boomer white guy when you've got all your homos against just him in a bar on some shitty section of the island but you are nothing against a racially aware HB viking which most of the people are in oc, south bay and a sub-set of l.a.
@vylkyl hawain punks? what's that? last time I went over to the islands I saw a bunch of midget brown turds who thought they were tough when they called me howle behind my back. in turn i called them faggots to their faces + they did NOTHING. This was on waikiki at the end of the jetty.
why are you island faggots such pussies? you had a group of 10 vs 1. so why are you pussies?
the fact is a lot of HBs are germanic rooted + big people. Tsol were all well over 6ft tall. OC has big people.
Damn man I wish I was a teen in the 80's! Skateboarding and punk was at the hight in the 80's......Now we have posers who dont know what it means to be punk! It's not about fashion, it's a state of mind, about saying fuck you to authority and bucking the system!!
Pat also did it to a cop. Pat had a relative that was a cop down in san diego(i think), so they may have givin him a break that way and put him in the funny farm for a few months when he got caught.
You didn't mess with the HB wolfpac unless you wanted a near death beating. Those guys were tough surf-punk -pricks / fuckalls.
The Circle jerks(and others) did a song about them called "wild in the streets".
Pat Brown was in sort of a hardcore punk group/gang of people called the HB Wolfpac and they'd go around causing mayhem and destruction. The name "Jack" they're using in this movie is actually a homage to jack grisham from TSOL, who was a big time thug/surf punk. Pat and Jack were good friends and used to do all kinds of mayhem. One of the HB Wolpacs attacks styles was using their classic cars with steel bumper to plow through people. In fact they did this to some metalheads back in the day.
That was real moshing and going off- rat boy.....Flea! This was an awesome movie in it's time and was banned in New Zealand because of the start, when a young boy is ripped to pieces by Dobermans at a phone box.......Real Punk and Punk Rock!!!!
Well, I was kinda drunk when i wrote this commentary. I know the actors are amateurs, but the story is bad, could be better. Anyway, I like this movie, but the bands are the best thing in the movie, that´s just my opinion...
"The Cuckoo's Nest club was memorialized in the Vandals song "Pat Brown," a song about a clubgoer who actually tried to run the cops into the ground."
@patbrown911 Depends on what you like in a movie. Some people like movies that capture a period of time and a lifestyle that most people arent familiar with. Add to the the pure 80s nostalgia and the great bands and well someone like me considers this movie fuckin great. It was never destined to win any awards, but if you think award winning movies are the only good ones then you obviously arent in the proper demographic for this movie.
@maryjaneskull Are you serious? Now I wish he actually died in that scene. Did you know when they had the fight scene with the red necks the fat one got hot coals thrown in his face? They also call raskal flea on accident a couple of times.
