  • Will they blend.

  • LOL i got these a year ago n they didnt fit in xbox 360 pad just little bit too small

  • They are cheap badly made zinc cloride batteries which don't las long anyway. Zinc cloride batteries are supposed to be used in remotes and othe low power device. use alkaline batteries. they last longer in torches etc.

  • 2:25 WTF -He should say! WHAT THE FUCK!!*??!

& swear. Lols.* WTF -Great Britain!

  • mate you have too much time on your hands. try putting a vid on here where we learn something new because everyone knows that those batteries are shit

  • So... what does he think he's accomplished? He has discovered that when you buy cheap crap, you get crap? Great job, buddy.

  • Technically it is not that bad of a rip off. 16 batteries for 1 pound or 1 dollar? You aint gonna get much outta them.

  • Well done - good honest vid. Next time try to let us see the handwork as well, could only see your face.

  • @577666 blessed are they who believe and have not seen!

  • High Amp bulb vs. Low Amp batts, what else, or should I say Watt else...

  • good vid thanks

  • i think you must first charge them

  • pause here - 1:34 - like if you think he looks dumb/drunk/gay or himself but really pissed off!

  • Harbor Freight stateside sells Chinese batteries.

Your Pound Store must get them from a different supplier, as the HF batteries are at least as good as name brands.

I will add, in your defense, that they cost more than the equivalent of a Pound per package. Nearer two.

  • So if you call a flashlight a torch then what do you call a stick with the end rapped in oil soaked cloth a set a flame, a flaming wade on a stick?lol.

  • @cowsrcool04 so does the american accent you fat fuck.

  • duracell!!

  • Strange - been buying Sony zinc- carbon AA and AAA in 12 pack for £1 in Poundland for over a year and they power my Disgo Fun videocam [3xAAA] and my Meade ETX-70 telescope [6xAA] - the latter with two motors for goto/ track the stars at night. I get several sessions at the scope per set so for £1 they're great value and well made ;-).

  • @nytecam Why bother Alkaline last 6x longer and don't cost 6x more.

  • @nytecam thats because sony is a brand, and poundland has contracts with big brands and poundland must get leftovers or whatever..i dont know exactly but the batteries hes talkking about are cheaply made fake ones that clearly dont work, ive used them before and there not even the same size as aas there a little bit smaller so they wobble about too. this guys on about non well known brands like power plus and what not, smartarse.

  • @thegreatcroust anyone stupid enough to buy Chinese [your quote and yes we've all done it!] 16/24xAA bats when they can buy good 12xAA Sony made in Poland for the same pound get what they deserve. The choice is theirs - smartarse,

  • the reason they only lasted that long is because of their low mah rating this is also why they r so cheap

  • you get the batteries cheap but the charge is extra!

  • allways get alkaline you can get good batts from pound shops just get the ones that have fewer in the pack they last longer i remember gettin 12 for a quid and they last in a 4 battery lamp for like 20 mins or somthing stupid

  • WOW, I don't think i've even SEEN batteries like that in my life. I live in the USA and nobody sells batteries like that here. Nobody would buy them! People actually buy them there!? One question....WHY?!?!?! You could buy a lemon, and a couple wires and make a better battery and spend less money.

  • @nearadyn naaa let the brits drink their "tea" and rot there teeth from chocolate and buy batteries that haveno juice in then life their sex it it good at the start but when all hope is going they pass out or diefro a heart asttacko

  • Energizer is the best!

  • Maybe you need to first recharge them non-recharge batteries, like in your other vid.

  • @BahoUtot that's funny

  • thats what i call premium lmao , my dad got those premium babys , we lost a part at work down the back of a machine , fear not tho dads got the premiums hahaha , that was a very funney day , ; )

  • Dude you must smoke a lot of weed

  • changed our life..

  • i got 12 kodak batteries for a pound and they work ok. Its a well known brand

  • awesome! stick it to the man!

  • i agree

  • WOO!

    FREEDOM FIGHTERS!

...uh, it's just batteries. Seeing through such amateur deceptions should be common sense.

    Nice comedy, bro!

  • hes not talking about regular batteries from a pund shop they do appear to be fine in most cases

its the cheapest nastiest batteries that some pund shops still sell they are LITERALLY rubbish and i know this because my auntie was foolish enough to buy them i told her not to (even before watching this video) they were worse than useless as she shops at pound shops regularly she took them back for a refund and ok its only a pound but its still a rip off!!

  • where is his accent from?

    im american

  • Comment removed

  • hes a disgrace to england look at the state of him lmao

  • ad 2 pound shop batteries in xbox pad for months fine.fail

  • I use AAA Powercell brand from the £ shop. Work as well and as long as Duracell in my LED bike lights.

If yours are not fit for purpose then take them back to the shop and get a refund - show them the evidence - simple.

  • i buy them batterys for a tv remote they last long enugh in them

tried them in my 360 controler (with headset connected)

got 3 mins out of them

  • in us they work about that way too. pretty much they are filled less than those good name batteries i can tell by holding a battery if it full power or not :) im sure alot of people do

  • Battery Fail. I dare you to call these negative. I dare you.

  • negative

  • your flashlight is broken :) jk

  • buy cheap, buy twice. enough said

  • well you get what you pay for

who can seriously expect a pack of 16 batteries for a pound to be any good? but its true that these batteries and other cons need to taken out of circulation its the kind of thing you see in market stalls not a shop!

  • tit

  • I feel so strongly about this subject that I'm definitely probably going to link to it on my myspace, possibly with a sternly written journal to accompany!

  • get a life

  • you the one that decided to watch the video idiot..and he has a life he ritch bitch

  • Long live the resistance!

  • in poundland they sell duracell batteries for only £1 on their website though I live in the USA I saw those in chinese markets for $4 USD

  • 1. That's lame. 2. You're lame. 3.Fail

  • he actually vary smart dumbass look he work for a big place in his country

  • fakes are the worst.. shame on china

  • wow where do u shop off poundshop well i get 50 bataries for £2.00 and they are duracell hehe

  • man here in the states thats just a waste of $2

  • I tried some of those Powercell batteries the other day, and they are completely useless.

You cab easily tell they're going to be dreadful though as they are very light. They're worse then the free ones you get with remote controls!!

  • and i shop there its a gd shop but i aint pooor

  • Dude, you're just exagerating, but i do hear what you're saying, its true that these bateries don't last long.

Its just cheap shit they put in these batteries, like those cheap ass 5p chewing gums, hey don't last long.

  • i have those powercell batteries yes i may be a cheap twat but they work and you didnt use them here.... i used them in my mp3 player before i got an iPod. fair enough they arent as good as duracell or energizer but what do you expect for £1 and even in supermarkets i have been sold batteries out of date and they didnt work obviously...
  • well 20 batteries lasts 5 secs.. that means 20 x 5 = 100 secs ... which is 1 min nd 40 secs ...

not bad for one pound :P

  • dude u got 20 batteries for 1 pound and each of batterie last 5 sec thats Cooooooooool hehe

  • don't get batteries from non reputable brands. they will leak and damage your appliance.

  • It's not bleedin' rocket science.. You pay £1 for 30 batteries and you get what you deserve..

  • Torch. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • What...?

  • Morrisons own were found to be the best value by The Gadget Show (which often features Shiny Shiny).

Out of the big brands, Energizer was the best performer, outlasting ever other battery tested, but they do cost more (I use rechargeable which are £7.00 or so for 4).

  • Yep, more cheap made in China junk that doesn't work. People are wising up though.

I work in a hardware store and I watch customers pick up tools, see they are made in China and toss them back in the bin in disgust.

  • i'm never buying chinese batteries ever again

  • Wow thoose are shit.

But I have bought £1 Batteries before and they work fine.

  • Well what to you expect for 1 pound.

  • ok that was a reasonable review. i'll give you credit where it's due.

Cheap alkaline batteries are more reliable from cheap shit shops. You don't' get as many but they work. Also don't buy C cell batteries from cheap shit shops, they're normally AA batteries with a cardboard casing around them.
