Awesome there is a park near me that has birds like that and they do seem very easy to tame. We have those kind in my area too I think the only ones that are friendlier are Northern Mockingbirds. We have a small family of them that sit on our widow sills and wake us up to be fed. Actually it isn't wise to leave our widows open they fly right in, lol.
@garnetigress86 Hi - Thanks for your comments. It really is nice to have a place to go like this. The chlckadees and nuthatches are both very tame. I wish we had Mockingbirds here, they sound like a very interesting bird. I've heard that they are quite inquisitive. All the Best.
Did you celebrate Pangea Day also? I have to say that is a fantastic video of the little feathered puffs. I wish I was able to stay awake longer and look up all of the videos made on Pangea Day but I believe I would not have slept to this present moment! Fantastical video. Well done.
Thanks for the answer, never heard about those one "Atricapillus". Parus Ater is very friendly too. Those who visit my garden are friendly and voracious (little things with big big apetite)
They all fly away when I step outside.lol But, the hummingbirds will come up to me sometimes, very curious littlem birds. I think the ones we see here are Carolinas, I just can't tell, they look so much alike to a novice birder like myself.:)
It was strange how they came to me. I was just walking along and they flew to me and just wanted to land on me. Chickadees and nuthatches (and a few other types of birds), seem to become tame fairly easy. Next time I go to that park; I'll remember to take some seeds, because that's what they were really hoping for.

Wow, Barsoup, fantastic video. Congratulation for video and narrative. Lovely little things. Are they ParusAter or Lacustris or neither?

Thank You! They are the Parus Atricapillus (Black-capped)variety. There is one spot in this park in particular, where they are extremely friendy.

How awesome! That they will let you touch them. We have them year round here, they are always at my feeders. The Carolina variety.
Great vid!

Thanks! Perhaps they would come to you as well. Worth a try. We just have the black capped chickadees here, but I'd love to see the Carolina variety.
