Not only do American's play "Jeopardy", our non system also forces us to play another game - "craps". Every day is a roll of the die where one can loose a lifetime of work if a major illness strikes. A major accident can exceed most Million $ insurance caps faster than you can say "Trauma Center" or "cancer". Most Americans are insured through their employers, yet middle aged citizens are most likely to be fired, just when they need health coverage the most. Health care is a basic human need.
