At this late stage to still try to call it a democracy instead of the CORRECT repeat fucker FACTUALLY CORRECT word: REPUBLIC, is just unacceptable. I mean what the fuck are you Dylan. A democracy is rule of the majority with NO RIGHTS FOR ANYONE (just temporary benefits until they get voted away) a republic with a rule of law - the American Republic means liberty and rights for the INDIVIDUAL. Individual Liberty made America strong. There is democratic PROCESS on a RESTRICTED section of issues.

this is dumb, people say the problem is that a majority of politicians dont serve the interests of the people instead they serve the interests of the big businesses that give them huge campaign contributions, so people say we have to pass legislation to stop that, but in order to pass such legislation youd need to vote in a majority of politicians that will not be bought off by big business interests, and serve the interests of the people, but in the act of doing so you solve the problem, duh :P

I think Dylan's bang on when he simplifies it to get the money out of politics. Separation of business and government, same as church and state. The reason church and state are separate is to prevent church from enacting its will on the people. Same thing should go for business.

Wow, I am impressed. I haven't liked anything that I have seen on MSNBC since Obama became President. I like how Dylan told the truth about the origination of the Tea Party and admitted that it was bought out. I have been a Tea party member since 2007 and I still support the REAL Tea Party, I tell the Neo Con Tea Partiers that they have NO PLACE in the Tea Party fighting for a Fascist System. Many of the Tea Party people know what is going on, but too many of them still listen to Glenn Beck.
