WOW ! I can't believe the Visitors are such bad Navigators ! And what's more disturbing is that they didn't even have the decency to leave a note with their insurance information.
Yes, a snapped bolt or metal fatigue would certainly explain why the remaining blade appears to have been wrapped around a solid object. ANYBODY with a short grasp of physics could perceive that the bent blade wrapped itself around an object in mid air which stopped it and the other blades just broke off with the momentum. But no. Lets go along with the official explanation of this, It was fireworks let off by a local resident. (WHICH resident?)
@worldwar3news but it is true! I saw this news report on the next night that it happened, and we in Lincolnshire around this area saw many incandescent orange lights in the sky that same night. The media said that they were 'chinese lanterns' or 'fireworks' (I wish they would make their minds up) HOWEVER having seen more than one of these flying lights myself, with 3 other witnesses on both accounts, they are brighter than a sodium street light. No chinese lantern.
what a crappy report. a million light-years?!?! maybe if they come from another galaxy... and because of time dilation, even a million light-years away they could get here in a week
