I just bought the 7 Wonders (the first game) for my Nintendo DS earlier tonight and I love it. It is so fun. It is probably one of the best match 3 type games I have played. I think it will actually prompt me to use my Nintendo DS more often instead of just having it sitting around collecting dust. I think I'll probably check out this game as well since it is only going to cost around 20 dollars.

You should get a second camera for reviewing DS games.

That way you can film both screens and cut between them (of do a picture in Picture type thing)

One of the best blcok-match puzzle games on DS is Meteos.

I beat this game on PC about 2 years ago. It's a fun game, but they don't give you much of an ending for all your hard work. Also when you break the tiles into small pieces, the workers at the bottom of the screen pick them up and move them off the board, which I find rather distracting. Almost like they're mocking you when you're franticaly trying to break that last tile or drop a capstone. I prefer a game like 10 Talismans over this one.

Yes, three cheers for handhelds not having STUPID region-locking!  The best puzzle game I've ever played is Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords on the PS2. I know it's out on next-gen consoles, but it was incredibly addicting on the PS2

if this is your favorite puzzle game on the ds, you should play more puzzle games. you should give magnetica, pic pic, picross, or some more of those number games a try. theyre pretty cheap. i got this game on my ds off of ebay, and its enjoyable.

Personally, my favorite puzzle game on the DS is the 2nd Layton, and since he reviewed it already, means he prefers 7 Wonders II.

Henry Hatsworth, Puzzle Quest Galactrix and Picross are also some of the best puzzle games on the DS.

Come to think of it, the DS has tons of great puzzle games, which I LOVE! (unlike the PSP, which barely has any)
