40 year of powerful stuff. He writes great melodies & lyrics, A strong emotive voice, with politics to match and an individual percussive style on guitar. A great humble character always welcome at our club.
Just saw Vin for the first time last in my life, last night in Twikenham. What a dude.. he is the man. I'd previously never heard of him and ent along with my girlfriend. I must say I was totally knocked out by this guy - the words are so powerful and yet he is the most entertaining and lovely bloke. Big Love, Jamie

Hi Vin Good to see you here , I see you at the Kent & Essex & you said , hey i like your Song , I played [ The Man in the Long Black Coat ] Happy Christmass
I fist saw Vin, in the Lazenby social club in the early Seventies, I still have my signed copy of the "Young tin whistle pest" album he was then and still is Brilliant! :-)
I remember the despair of my grandad and my dad steel workers both from ireland to scotland to teesside and still no work...real men. And no dignity was allowed to them ...and not for the first time
Vin is an absolute legend, his live performances are a real joy. Good health to you Vin and thank you for the enjoyment you have given us.Hope to catch you again soon.
Vin ROCKS. Haven't seen Vin in over 20 years (alas, we moved far away), didn't recognize the video until he opened his mouth. Love his HUMOR, accent, message, and music. Stoelen, Vin!
Living in Denmark I just don't get to see my heroes, Vin has always been an inspiration from way back when, "The Sally" and "The Sun Inn" in Doncaster, lion inn Wath, etc. where I first dared get out my guitar and sing out loud! Thanks too whoever was responsible for posting this!
