How can I go up to Salzburg and then go salzkammemut, what methods are there and how much.
If I could tell me i would be grateful. I ask because I also will go to munich and then to salzburg soon and was wondering the same also to go to Kehlsteinhaus - Eagle's Nest which is near bye.
@bluechacra Just get a Bahn ticket good for however long you want to be there. With public transportation you can go anywhere and there are hotels or gästhauses everywhere. Just go to the local tourist Amt (office) and get some maps and a list of attractions and you're all set.
At 11:00 you can almost see my boatshouse, its just behind the trees to the left. The actual house is just 200 meter up the road, though I actually live in salzburg city most of the time.
