you must have watched some shitty dota then. Back then, lane combos were the trend. sk lina, puck zues, qop sven. sk was never picked for pushing, and noone ever skipped out on stun. that was only recently when the Chinese did it. also, sandstorm was left at lvl 1 before because of the amount of aoe back then.

and sk's core has always been blink. back then you could even substitute bkb. Even when boots first was standard with a salve, sk never skipped out on stun.
