Hi there thanks for the reply. I have done what you said and the old screen works. Could this be the problem, my new screen has 2 severed wires which are the small white and black wires which are located behind the screen. There's a few of them. I twisted them back together and taped it up with electrical tape. Any ideas??? Thanks.
Hi. I hope you can help me with something. I followed all the steps and replaced my screen with a new one but when I start it up I don't get the chiming sound and the screen is blank. What is wrong??? Please help me!!!!:-(
@mattyg711 - You likely need to go back in and verify all connections. You may also need to hook up your old LCD to verify the one you are installing is not causing the issue.

@mattyg711 - That's the problem. You'll need a replacement screen.
