Shur. PLEASE research evolution beofre you make these refutations. No offense, but you look a bit stupid. Evolution doesn't claim that a lizard, put into a water tank will turn into an alligator. You need time, slow changing environments, an opening in the food chain, a source of food, etc. What I find interesting, however, is that we never find an intermediate between two species. Let alone between reptile/bird, fish/amphibean, etc.

A chimp looks more similar to a human than a frog , Its no surprise that fossil dating and stratigraphy puts hominids only in the last few million years but amphibians go back for hundreds of millions of years.

The main indication of evolution here is the 'from them' part. If you just said that some this and some that had 2 or 4 legs, then it's variation, but it's not. It's step-by-step development.

This can only occur if space only existed in a proximity large enough for this dense atom to exist. Then this space began to expand, and so the atom.
The 2nd verse here shows the universe in a state near to smoke. Scientists have forumlated that this was the form of the universe when the first laws of physics had come into play but the stars and things like that hadn't formed yet. Raw matter was floating all over the place in 'clouds.'

The big bang theory doesn't say why it happened or what was before it. What we know is that the universe started dense and small, expanded, first as a homogeneous cloud of gas, then gravity caused the structure we see today.

The big bang theory doesn't say how it started. You can measure a "big bang" even though you didn't know what caused it. You might say it was a firecracker but without evidence it wouldn't be science.

If you put a population of lizards in a swimming pool, then yes they would drown. But in nature there is also slow change: islands are born, swamps turn into deserts, etc.

The big bang is not a "theory of everything" and it doesn't have an answer to questions such as "what happened before the big bang" or "why don't big bangs happen all the time"
it just a description on what happened during the history of the universe, based on observations and natural laws such as " hubbles law" and Einsteins equations.
A big bang isn't some planetary explosion or anything. A BIG BANG CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN A PRIMORDIAL UNIVERSE. As in, a universe just big enough for a pin-sized atom to exist in. Like I said, this atom is so dense, that if there was enough space, it would immediately explode.
First: What is an explosion? It is an expulsion of matter as a result of top-heavy outward pressure in an object. Not just some 'BOOM' and shockwaves.
Then our Lord created more space and this atom DID explode.

Shur. PLEASE research evolution beofre you make these refutations. No offense, but you look a bit stupid. Evolution doesn't claim that a lizard, put into a water tank will turn into an alligator. You need time, slow changing environments, an opening in the food chain, a source of food, etc. What I find interesting, however, is that we never find an intermediate between two species. Let alone between reptile/bird, fish/amphibean, etc.

@shaamanplatinum Evolution doesn't predict intermediates between modern species. The further back in time a common ancestor lived, the more time there was to diverge. A chimp looks more similar to a human than a frog , Its no surprise that fossil dating and stratigraphy puts hominids only in the last few million years but amphibians go back for hundreds of millions of years.

@shaamanplatinum I mean that an intermediate is not a single animal but an entire species of animals that all look the same. In time they either change as a whole species or an isolated group branched off from the original population.
If you look at certain island populations you see just that happening. Is causes great problems for naming the animals because instead of a clear distinction between species its just a grey area.
"Ringspecies" are another great example of this.

"Lo! your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then He established Himself upon the Throne, directing all things. There is no intercessor (with Him) save after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Oh, will ye not remind?" Surah Yunus, Ayah 3.
It clearly says here the the Heavens and the earth were created in six days.

@shaamanplatinum Also, my father is a scholar, so if I did ask him, he would give me an answer of authority. The Quran is meant to be explained by scholars. You can't just read an Ayah and interpret for your self. Its much more complicated. It took entire life times to write Tafseers. You have to look at the Asbab-An-Nuzul (situation when the verse was revealed), hadeeth on the subject, and much more. If you don't believe me, ask a scholar.

So according to you species switch from one to another with no intermediary generations. Ok, let's find the species link between Canis Lupus and its ancestor. You will say that there is a generation where the parents of the wolf are the ancestor species and the child is the wolf. But really, there is no such thing as a species. A species is just a certain order of DNA in a cell, which forms the make-up of an animal. Which we have classified ourselves. It's a human concept.

Seeing intelligent design is like watching trough a religious lens. You ignore the signs of common ancestory, the redundancy in our dna and our body plan, etc.
Evolution is not like a hurricane in a junkyard. It provides a mechanism that is testable and proven. Thats why scientists all over the world have accepted it and moved on already.

Yes, you're correct. But what about the setting of the universe? I, myself, believe in evolution, because it is mentioned in Qur'an. I also believe in the Big Bang, because that's mentioned too. I really don't have time to show you everything, but the chance of the universe setting itself in a way that it doesn't collapse in on itself, or even happening at all, is obviously smaller than 0.0%.

The main indication of evolution here is the 'from them' part. If you just said that some this and some that had 2 or 4 legs, then it's variation, but it's not. It's step-by-step development.

Now if you look at this, the Big Bang theory entails that all the energy and mass in this universe is and expanded form of one VERY dense atom. So dense that it is visibly the size of a pinhead. Heavens and earth joined together. Then this atom split from pressure and released energy and more basic elements into the universe. This can only occur if space only existed in a proximity large enough for this dense atom to exist. Then this space began to expand, and so the atom.

The 2nd verse here shows the universe in a state near to smoke. Scientists have forumlated that this was the form of the universe when the first laws of physics had come into play but the stars and things like that hadn't formed yet. Raw matter was floating all over the place in 'clouds.'
The 3rd verse shows the expandsion of the universe.
NOTE: The verses aren't in the order that they are arranged in the Holy Quran.

Thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape; (28) "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." (29) Surah Al Hijr 28-29. Its made clear from this verse that Allah created the humans HIMSELF. He created Adam PBUH and Hawa, they were the first humans. Then they had children, and their children had children and so on.

The Quran was revealed to the Prophet and he had the best knowledge of it. You can not just interpret what you want from the Quran. The mufasireen spent their entire lives explaining the Quran.

Nobody knows what caused the big bang or what exists outside our universe. There are several hypotheses but none are proven.

The big bang theory doesn't say why it happened or what was before it. What we know is that the universe started dense and small, expanded, first as a homogeneous cloud of gas, then gravity caused the structure we see today.

But evolution happened too. Its an accepted scientific theory just like gravity or atomic theory.
There are in fact many examples of evolution in plants and animals and a complete understanding of the process that causes it.

You would need a whole population of lizards and a gradually changing environment over millions of years.
Then they still wouldn't become alligators, but in the absence of real alligators they might evolve a similar body plan/way of life.
The big bang theory doesn't say how it started. You can measure a "big bang" even though you didn't know what caused it. You might say it was a firecracker but without evidence it wouldn't be science.

@DutchNordic You keep dodging this question. What PROOF do you have that the big bang happend? Don't tell me "Scientists have proven it". That doesn't tell me anything. And how come no big bangs are happening now a days? One rule of making a scientific fact is that an experiment has to be repeated sevreal times before it can be called accurate. How come there haven't been any other big bangs? If put a whole populations of lizards in water, they would all drowned.

If you put a population of lizards in a swimming pool, then yes they would drown. But in nature there is also slow change: islands are born, swamps turn into deserts, etc.
Quick changes such as Ice ages, meteor impacts cause mass extinctions that are usually followed by bursts of evolution. For example. after the dinosaurs died, the mammals became dominant .

it just a description on what happened during the history of the universe, based on observations and natural laws such as " hubbles law" and Einsteins equations.

A big bang isn't some planetary explosion or anything. A BIG BANG CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN A PRIMORDIAL UNIVERSE. As in, a universe just big enough for a pin-sized atom to exist in. Like I said, this atom is so dense, that if there was enough space, it would immediately explode.
First: What is an explosion? It is an expulsion of matter as a result of top-heavy outward pressure in an object. Not just some 'BOOM' and shockwaves.
Then our Lord created more space and this atom DID explode.

@SHUR1312 I have encountered many Muslims who believe that the Koran does not contradict the big bang theory. They mention "miracle verses" that are supposed to back it up. "we split the heaven and the earth and drove them asunder" or something like that.
One popular Muslim scholar Zakir Naik mentions it all the time.

@DutchNordic I have challenged many atheists to find a fault in the Quran which goes against modern science. But they can't. The hadeeth say that Shaytan (the devil) goes through the body like the way BLOOD flows through the body. It was only recently discovered that blood flows through out the body. But the Hadeeth state it from over 1,400 years ago. There are many more like this.

@SHUR1312 People have known for 100.000 years that blood flows trough a body. Whenever they slaughtered an animal (or human) they would have seen the evidence for that.
You also believe it is possible for a Shaytan to flow in a human body without any evidence. You just believe it because the Koran says so.

The Big Bang is only a name for the way the universe was created. People say that science and religion cannot mix. I disagree. Science is the human understanding of God's creation, the Universe, and his rules, limits, and laws he has put on it.
