Rofl i beat the game today it was so fun x] My most powerfulest chars were Heavens Door Platnium she faced 4 enemies with out dying o.o and is the 2nd game out yet? i rly wanna play it :]
just beat it....takes roughly 18-30 hours depending on how strong your troopers are and such....i didn't play non-stop so it took me about a month playing about an hour every other day or so. totally worth it though and i cant wait for next installment
i found out some thing! well frist, is there a type of song that can give you gold all the time? "O" the thing is, if you every come buy troop karma keep her. cuz she will be good going up agints numer 42! i did it in she was good i got her to gold and beat him!
Just keep playing the one song over and over and you'll get a Rank S Tune Trooper (I recommend getting the Bronze) My favourite is Freedom Fighter (I got him on Blink 182 - What's my Age Again?) But commonly you get Mascarade from that song. ^^
Have to get my ipod fixed up.... btw, does anyone know how exactly listening to songs strengthen the characters? If I've listened to one song like 200 times already, will that add anything to the troop I create with that song?
Listening to songs only helps after you have a song attached to a Tune. Meaning that any of your current plays do nothing. After you have attached a song to a Tune, the more you listen to it, the more party points you get. After around 400-500 party points you max out your "Groove Bar" which can be used to boost all of your Tune's in any one battle (Boss battle most likely).
This is called "Groove Power." You can get a max level of 4 from using the Groove Bar points you get from listening to music. This isn't the only way to get "Groove Power" though. There are boxes on certain maps that, when attacked, boost your "Groove Power" by the number inidcated on the box.
The highest "Groove Power" you can get is 5, and at that point all enemies become confused. Also, the battle music becomes more intensive every level of "Groove Power" you increase.
So, by listening to your songs (attached to Tune's) you slowly increase your Groove Bar which can then be used to heavily boost your Tune's in a battle. I just picked one song I attached to a Tune and had it loop for about 8 hours straight (when I slept). I woke up and maxed out my Groove Bar that way.
No need. Just hold the center button on your iPod when you have a song highlighted. TYhe song will flicker and that signifies it's on your "On the Go" list. This is the only playlist you can make whilst using your iPod (aka you don't use iTunes to make it).
I just through in a single song and had it loop over night as I said.
The animation is a bit choppy on my 5th Gen iPod though. I believe Apple enhanced the CPU and GPU in the newer models (I plan to get an iPod Nano when I buy my Macbook Pro in two months, I'll have to test it and see if its better then).
it would be cool if you could listen to the songs while playing

This game is a steal. It is a great game only for $5. All other new games are about $50. Plus this for your IPOD. How cool is that?

If only the style of music decided the trooper type =/ It seems that the game just randomly picks a Trooper and its stats.
