If I'm not mistaken, Samsung has released this phone in the US under the T919 name of "Behold". If not, then their hardware and OS look identical. You might have missed the release due to iPhone hype. The thing about Behold is that because it is a resistive touchscreen, it's better to be pressed with a stylus than a finger. To date, no one can quite match iPhone's responsiveness with capacitive touchscreen.

I am korean and i have visited korea lately and tested this phone out. I must say that iPhone Kills Haptic. Even if i am korean, i have to say that apple has beaten the korean technology!!!! The bad thing about that phone is, the touch feature is slow and does not support multi-touch. Also you can not get any apps on it. it's basically what you get from the company and no additional things cannot be added.

Anycall and Samsung are the same brand. Anycall being the Korean version of the brand. This phone I believe is closer to the Samsung Omnia, they are the same size and have similar properties. And yes, it is better than the Tocco. A Korean friend of mine explained to me that Koreans believe the west is techonology-phobic, so we have less cool stuff on the same phones, whether that's true or not I don't know.

but seriously...it looks better than the old iphone but i would prefer iphone 3g than haptic. my friend has it and it's VERY fragile and sometimes is very slow and the camera sucks. all the features i saw on the AD was there but way different...like the picture sliding..it works only 40% of the time. you need to get the right angle and stuff it's rather frustrating

I just got this phone yesterday. I've been playing around with it to really get all the features down. The touch is pretty accurate, but when you're writing PDA style, you have to make sure you're pressing hard enough. My words will get split up because I keep on picking up the stylus. Other than that, it's a great phone. The internet is cool, you can use it pretty much anywhere, and it has expandable memory. I'm happy about buying it.

Very nice video. I guess you must be in South Korea to get this new Haptic phone from Samsung. It will take a while to get to North Korea, but I have few questions:

1. How accurate is the touch screen? Does it feel almost natural as using a regular non-touch screen phone?

2. How is the talking over phone quality?

The touch screen is pretty accurate. You can calibrate it so that the phone responds to wherever you put the stylus or your finger. In terms of writing messages or things like that, you can use your fingers to press "buttons" on the screen, or use the stylus to "write". Every time you press a button, you will feel a vibration.

Talking is very clear. The phone gets a little hot fairly quickly, though.
