  • aviator45: If I remember right, he was right at 9-10psi at this time. About a 3200 stall. Comp268s on MarkVIII shortblock and ported npi heads. Water/meth injection and a *proper* tune to take advantage of it and still be safe is the key, here. This is a little too much boost if you beat on it a lot. Eventually, with prolonged WOT, you will pop a ring land on a stock block.

    vans1107: if it's the rpm-down you're talking about right after the 2nd gear shift, it's the torque converter locking up.

  • whats all done to the motor?? what stall? etc. etc.

    i have a npi mustang with a stock auto and a svo at 5-6psi with npi heads, pi cams, full exhaust, 4 10's, springs, shocks, and had on MT and pulled mid to high 13's at 103-104.

  • why does it sound like it shifts waay too soon into 3rd gear?
