Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
if you read in 1st and 2nd corithians it speaks on homosexualitty and how it is an abomination to God's law. It speaks of it in more places. It's a forgivable sin.
100% right. The bible does indeed condemn homosexuality and advocates the death penalty for it. That is just one of the many evils of this vile religion.
Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"
1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another,
men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."
@Taharah007 The problem is people dont believe in the word and they water the word down so much that it ends up meaning nothing! We must stand strong in defense of Gods word.
So "Ritually unclean" is not as severe as what people regard it as today. Eating shellfish, pg and rabbit is also regarded as unclean in those texts.
Christians read the passages of Leviticus (and the entire Torah) differently to Jewish people, Jews do not take the words literally, they have been brought up to "STUDY" the their bible.
Everybody reads the Bible selectively. If people followed every single biblical ruling to the letter, the world would be full of Christians who love their enemies and refuse to judge other people,
which is plainly not the case. Christians would also be obliged to eat kosher meat (Acts 15:20) and stone their disobedient sons to death (Deuteronomy 21:18-21). The world has changed practices that were acceptable 2k years ago have become abhorrent.
St Paul's condemnation of the "unnatural practices"
of the Graeco-Roman world springs from a visceral disgust with idolatry, the root cause of all the disorders in Paul's long list (Romans 1:20-31). The Bible is not a holy encyclopedia, giving clear and unequivocal information; nor is it a legal code that can be applied indiscriminately to our very different society.
Lifting isolated texts out of their literary and cultural context can only distort its message.
Rules against sodomy in Leviticus 18 and 20 are not legislating for ordinary human affairs.
Throughout, the authors of Leviticus are chiefly concerned with temple ritual. ritual bestiality, child sacrifice, and the cultic use of menstrual blood in sorcery. The verses against sodomy (Leviticus 18:22; 20:13)
forbid temple prostitution: which defiles the land, that concerns Leviticus.
ABOMINATION - hebrew TOEVAH means RITUALLY UNCLEAN.
SCRIPTURE AS INSPIRATION & REVELATION, NOT JUSTIFICATION "For I through the law died to the law that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me & gave Himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification were through the law, then Christ died for nothing." Gal. 2:19-21:
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Another passage the Bible folks
like to sweep under the carpet
is the story of the love affair
between King David and Prince Jonathan.
It actually turned out a lot better
than David's adulterous, murderous HETERO affair.
